Camso Is Now Camoplast: Same Tracks, Same Team

Camoplast logo (formerly Camso)

Camso Powersports has gone back to its original name: Camoplast. If you own Camso tracks, or you’ve been shopping for a Camso 4S1 or ENDUR kit, nothing about the tracks has changed. Only the name on the box.

On its new website, Camoplast says it plainly: “New Camoplast. Same tracks.” and “Our name changed, but our track expertise remains the same. We are the same team offering the same tracks, and reliability.” (camoplast.com)

The change was announced by Michelin, which owns the business, on September 1, 2026. As reported by the European Rubber Journal, ATV and side-by-side track systems previously sold as Camso Powersports are now sold under the Camoplast brand, with the new identity introduced gradually starting in November 2026. Camso farm tracks are a separate story: they are becoming Michelin Bibtrack. For a full side-by-side comparison, read Camso vs Camoplast: Is There Any Difference?

A short history of the name

  • 1982: Camoplast starts building tracks. Camoplast describes its track story as beginning “under the Camoplast name” in 1982.
  • 2015: Camoplast Solideal renames itself Camso.
  • November 2026: The powersports track business returns to its roots as Camoplast, with a new site at camoplast.com.

We’ve run these tracks since the original Camoplast days, when our first set went on a Yamaha Rhino, so for us it feels like the name has come home.

What stays the same

  • The same track systems: UTV 4S1, UTV ENDUR, X4S and ATV T4S.
  • Original parts: wheels, frames, suspensions, tracks, cables, sprockets and vehicle attachments, which Camoplast says are guaranteed to fit a Camoplast track system.
  • Transfer kits: switch vehicles and keep your tracks.
  • At UTV Tracks: the same fitment matching for your exact make, model and year, the same kits and the same people. Call us at 801-477-7149.

I already own Camso tracks. What does this mean for me?

Nothing changes on your machine. Camso and Camoplast are the same product line from the same team. Your tracks, mount kit and wear parts work the same as before. If you need parts or have a warranty question, call us with your machine and part number and we’ll help you sort it out.

Why you’ll still see “Camso” for a while

Packaging, manuals, part stickers, older videos and some web addresses (including a few on our own site) will still say Camso during the changeover. A Camso 4S1 and a Camoplast 4S1 are the same kit. We list the manufacturer part number on every product page, so you can match it either way.
