Short answer: Camso and Camoplast are the same company and the same tracks. In September 2026, Michelin announced that Camso Powersports ATV and UTV track systems would go back to the original Camoplast name, rolling out from November 2026. The Camoplast UTV 4S1 and UTV ENDUR are the same kits that were sold as Camso, from the same team.
If you searched “Camso vs Camoplast,” you probably saw both names on the same track kit and wondered whether one is a knockoff, an older version, or a different company. It is none of those. Here is what changed, what did not, and what it means if you own or are shopping for UTV tracks.
What actually happened
On September 1, 2026, Michelin announced a restructuring of its off-highway brands. As reported by the European Rubber Journal, ATV and side-by-side track systems “currently marketed under Camso Powersports will instead be sold under the Camoplast brand,” and “the new Camoplast identity will be introduced gradually, starting in November 2026.”
Camoplast now has its own site at camoplast.com, which puts it simply: “New Camoplast. Same tracks.” Even the official YouTube channel has switched to the Camoplast name. We covered the announcement in our news post, Camso Is Now Camoplast: Same Tracks, Same Team.

A short history of the name
- 1982: Camoplast begins making tracks under the Camoplast name.
- 2015: Camoplast Solideal renames itself Camso.
- September 2026: Michelin announces that Camso Powersports products will be sold as Camoplast.
- November 2026: The Camoplast name starts appearing on the website, videos and packaging.

What stays exactly the same
- The tracks: the UTV 4S1 for 400 to 1000cc machines and the UTV ENDUR for 1000cc and up.
- Mount kits and fitment: each kit is still built for a specific make, model and year.
- Parts and transfer kits: wear parts, sprockets and transfer kits still fit your existing system.
- Who you call: at UTV Tracks, the same people match the same kits to your machine.
What you will see change
- The red Camoplast logo replacing the Camso logo on boxes, stickers and manuals, gradually.
- camoplast.com replacing camso.co as the main website.
- Dealers, including us, listing kits as “Camoplast (formerly Camso)” during the switch.
For a while, you will see both names. Older videos, PDFs, install guides and listings will keep saying Camso. That is normal, and the information in them still applies.
What it means if you are buying tracks right now
Nothing changes about how to pick a kit. You still need the right mount kit for your exact machine, and some models split by details like power steering or A-arm type. Our fitment guides cover two of the most common mix-ups, RZR 900 M10 vs M12 rear A-arm bolts and Kubota RTV-X1140 forged vs sheet metal A-arms. If you have a big machine, see Camoplast ENDUR vs 4S1.

Frequently asked questions
Are Camso and Camoplast the same company?
Yes. Camoplast is the original name of the company that became Camso in 2015. Michelin, which owns the business, announced on September 1, 2026 that its Camso Powersports ATV and side-by-side track systems will be sold under the Camoplast brand, with the new identity rolling out starting November 2026.
Are Camoplast tracks different from Camso tracks?
No. Camoplast says it is the same team offering the same tracks. The UTV 4S1 and UTV ENDUR systems sold as Camoplast are the same products that were sold as Camso.
Did the part numbers change?
Not so far. The kits we sell still carry the same part numbers they had as Camso, such as 6522-05-1424 for a Polaris Ranger 1000 XP kit. You can look up any old Camso number in our Camso part number guide.
Is my Camso warranty still good?
The tracks come from the same company, and both the Camoplast UTV 4S1 and UTV ENDUR are listed with a 2-year limited warranty on manufacturing defects. For a specific claim, call us at 801-477-7149 with your serial number and we will help you through it.
Are Camso farm tracks also becoming Camoplast?
No. Under the same announcement, Camso agricultural tracks and track systems are being rebranded as Michelin Bibtrack, and Solideal by Camso industrial tires become Solideal by Michelin. Only the powersports ATV and UTV line becomes Camoplast.
Should I wait for Camoplast-branded tracks instead of buying Camso stock?
There is no reason to wait. A kit in a Camso box and a kit in a Camoplast box are the same product. Buy whichever fits your machine and is available first.
